Civil societies calls for establishment of citizens help office desk in Anambra From Ifeoma Ejiofor Combined group of civil societies in Nnewi South LGA of Anambra State, have called for the establishment of Office of the Citizens (OOTC) help desk in the twenty one LGAs in the state. The groups made their position known during an interactive session hosted by Justice, Development Peace Caritas (JDPC) Nnewi Catholic Diocese in partnership with a development partner, Enough is Enough Nigeria. They insisted that the creation of the help desk would promote good governance, transparency and accountability adding that it would give them a voice for timely reporting of challenges and needs in their localities. Embrace Agriculture, Nnewi Community Tells Youths From Seun Miracle Nigerian youths have again been urged to embrace agriculture so as to lessen the hunger and starvation in the country. Obi of Ezindu in Obiofia, Nnewichi-Nnewi in Nnewi North LGA, Obi Ejike Ndubuizu made the appeal during his new new yam festival. He noted that there is need for the youths and other energetic persons in the country to go back to the farm as it was in the days of old.
