MAN, 21 ARRESSTED FOR HAVING CARNAL KNOWLEDGE Of UNDER AGE BOYS

A twenty one year old man has been arrested for having carnal knowledge of two underages boys.

The news of his arrest was contained in a press release signed by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of Anambra State Command, Mr Mohammed Haruna (SP)

Haruna said that the suspect has admitted his offence and blames it on peer group influence.

The PPRO said the arrest was made following a tip off, and police detectives attached to B' Division Awka swooped on the suspect, Obimeze Maduabuchi Augustine at Ofianta Village Nsugbe in Anambra East LGA but resides at Ejeagwu Estate Awka.

The suspect according to the release allegedly had carnal knowledge against the order of nature with two small boys of 5 and 7 years on different occasions.

He said further that the suspect has equally made a voluntary confessional statement to the police and blamed his act on peer group influence.

Haruna disclosed that the scene of crime was visited by Police detectives and the two victims ,all boys were taken to the hospital for medical examination.

The Anambra State Commissioner of Police (CP) John B. Abang,fdc* has ordered for immediate transfer of the case to the State Criminal investigation Department(CID)for discreet investigation after which suspect would be charged to court for prosecution.
