Akwa Ibom Woman Arrested In Anambra While Attempting To Sell Own Baby
Police operatives attached to Ojoto Division, Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambra State have arrested a twenty one year old lady, Emila Sunday while trying to sell her three year old son.

The suspect who claimed to be from Akwa Ibom State was nabbed with her son at Ire-village Ojoto.

Preliminary investigation according to the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the Anambra State Command, Mr Haruna Mohammed (SP) revealed that the suspect was attempting to sell her three months old son on account of hardship.

Haruna said that baby was rescued in good health condition and investigation is ongoing to unravel the circumstances surrounding the matter.
