ENDSARS Protest: IGP Team Inspects Burnt Police Formations In Anambra


The high powered committee set up by the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu (IGP) to assess the losses suffered by the Nigeria Police Force during the ENDSARS protest has arrived Anambra State.

The news of the arrival of the committee was contained in a Police Bulletin signed by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the Anambra State Police Command, Mr Haruna Mohammed (SP)

The committee actually arrived the state on Saturday to assess the level of damage and losses done to police infrastructure and personnel during the peaceful EndSARS protest that was hijacked by hoodlums.

The Committee headed by Mr Patrick Atayero(DCP) inspected all police formations burnt or vandalised by suspected hoodlums during the unfortunate incident.

The team also commiserate on behalf of the Inspector General of Police (IGP) with families of police officers who paid the supreme sacrifice as well as the injured personnel.

The committee according to the bulletin has equally documented all the losses incurred by police and it's  personnel during the crisis in Anambra State Police Command for onward transmission to the IGP.  

The Committee is expected to round up its assignment in Anambra State on Wednesday.
