1 Die In Nnewi Multiple Accident

A man has lost his life in a multiple accident that occurred in Nnewi, Anambra State on Sunday at about 3.45pm.

An eye witness account said a yet to be identified Highlander driver with registration number LSD911CP lost control while on a top speed crashed into a Toyota Sienna and a Motorcycle along Otolo Nnewi road in front of St James Parish.

He said a total of four persons were on board, noting that three persons sustained varying degrees of injuries and was taking  to Okoro hospital by FRSC rescue team from Nnewi command.

The unidentified motorcycle rider starched to the the pillion on the motorcycle was taken to Akwudo hospital also in Nnewi where he was and the confirmed dead by doctors on duty.

Meanwhile, the Anambra State Sector Commander of FRSC, Andrew A Kumapayi(CC) has sent his condolences to the deasesed family and wishes the injured accelerated recovery. 

He admonished motorist  to be more careful especially at this auspicious festive period and avoid overspeeding noting that speed trills but at the same time kills.
