Security Agencies Begin Joint Patrol In Anambra

As part of the security arrangements for Christmas and New Year Celebrations in the State,the Anambra State Police Command in collaboration with other Sister Security Agencies have Commenced Joint Visibility Patrol on black spots and other flashpoints in the State.

The patrol according to the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of Anambra State Command, Mr Haruna Mohammed (SP) is aimed at ensuring  that "Ndi Anambra" and other residents alike are adequately protected during the festive Season.

The Joint teams comprising of the Command Rapid Response Squad(RRS),the Anti-Cult Unit in collaboration with DSS officers have Saturday visited Tollgate/building materials site,ugwu-nwasike roundabout,Nkpor junction/ roundabout, Upper Iweka Axis, Borromeo roundabout, Owerri-Aba road,head bridge Onitsha and other flashpoints.

Haruna Mohammed said that the patrol will further serve as deterrence and send a strong message to the miscreants that it would not be business as usual and that the Command is battle ready to deny criminal elements any opportunity to perpetrate crime in the State.

He said the joint patrol will also ensure safety and security of all citizens before during and after the Christmas and new year celebrations.
