CMD NAUTH elevated to the rank of Associate Professor The Acting Chief Medical director of Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital Nnewi, Dr Ugboaja Joe has been promoted to an Associate Professor of Obstetrics & Gynaecology.  This was announced at the senate meeting of the University that held Wednesday,  24th February 2021. Dr Ugboaja Joseph was previously a senior lecturer of the University. One hundred year old Pa Boniface Onyejekwe who obviously is the oldest man in the community blessed the demonstrators before they set out and urged them to be peaceful. This fact was contained in a press release signed by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the command, Haruna Mohammed (CSP). Haruna Mohammed said that on February 4,  a case of missing persons was reported at CPS Awka by one Ukamaka  Anunobi "f" of NO.7 Emeka Chukwura Street Amikwo Awka. By Priase Adeyemo-Ojo Man crushed to death in Awka An unidentified young man was on Friday crushed to death at Aroma area of Awka, Anambra State. The yet to be identified victim according to the Public Education Officer of Anambra State Sector of FRSC, Florence N.Edor(SRC) was crossing the road by Aroma opposite UBA Awka at about 15.20pm. Edor said that eyewitness account indicated that the pedestrian was knocked down while   crossing the road.  She added that the victim was taken to Amaku hospital by FRSC rescue team from Anambra State Sector Command where he was confirmed dead by the doctor on duty and his body deposited at Amaku mortuary.
