2023: Ngige, Obiano Bless Okagbue's Senatorial Ambition


The Minister of Labour and Productivity, Dr. Chris Ngige says Uzuegbuna Okagbue's senatorial ambition to represent Anambra Central is in order. 

Dr Ngige stated this when he played host to the leading Anambra Central National Assembly aspirant.

"The way you are going is how it is done. That was how I went round throughout Anambra Central in 1998. Although I later did not win my party's nomination, but that consultation was useful because it made me a foremost Anambra Central politician even without winning my party's nomination or an election", Dr. Ngige said.

Ngige admonished Uzu that he should not have any doubt in what he is doing because, according to the minister, "Your kingship will come, that is my prayer and it will come. This efforts you are making will bear bountiful fruits. I am wishing you well. This journey will be useful and bear fruits". 

Also, the immediate past governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano has commended senatorial hopeful, Okagbue for the quality of his campaign. 

He noted that the National Assembly aspirant has sustained a robust debate that focused exclusively on what he will do and why he is the best for the job. 

Gov. Obiano appluaded Uzu for putting the spirit of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) into action by the way he and his team are conducting his campaign.

The former governor admonished Okagbue and his team to continue on the path of honour and politics of issues, remain steadfast and never be distracted.
