Gov Soludo is not a Solution to Anambra, Clergy declares
Nnewi fiery priest, Prophet Ikechukwu Uzukwu, the Spiritual Head of Soul Revival Outreach said that Gov Charles Soludo is not a Solution to Anambra.
Prophet Uzukwu who was speaking on Sunday challenged the adherent of Soludo Solution to point at one particular thing the governor has done to prove to be a solution to in the state.
"The security apparatus Mr Governor is boasting about was set up by Sen Ifeanyi Ubah, Ndi-Anambra are daily living in fear of Soludo's hitmen. Okada, Keke and shuttle bus operators are now paying for what they never bargained for.
"85% of commercial transporters in the state took their vehicles on hire purchase, paying double for the actual cost of their vehicles, they also pay Gov Soludo's boys N2,600 every week and N600 for Governor's POS which also amount to N2,800 per week.
Gov Soludo's boys are always on rampage in Nnewi removing vehicle plate numbers from cars that are not even parked on the road, this is disgraceful and unheard of, he should please tell his boys to allow people breathe," he noted.
He expressed worry that trucks that bring goods into Anambra State are charged between N30,000 and N40, 000 per trip, a situation which according to him is responsible for high cost of the goods brought into the state.
Uzukwu said that it is only in Anambra State that the government has been systematically throwing the common people into abject poverty.
"Gov Soludo's administration is the only one that has not put in place fuel pump price monitoring team to checkmate the excessive tendencies of petroleum dealers.
"It took Ngige one year and six months to construct 40% of State roads and 40% of federal roads, during Peter Obi's administration, he constructed 40% of state roads and 60% of local government area roads, it was on the strength of their efforts that Anambra State emerged the state with best road network in Nigeria.
"Nnewi North-Nnewi South link road is 95% cut off by gully erosion, two functional companies are about to be consumed by the erosion. Ukpaka road linking Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital (NAUTH) recently collapsed.
"Before the road eventually collapsed, the people of the area passionately appealed to Gov Soludo to come to their aid but all their pleas fell on deaf ears.
"I have said it times without number that any governor that is passionate about media stunts is only playing games with the lives of the people. I appeal to Gov Soludo to visit Abia and Ebonyi State and see wonders going on in the two states," Prophet Uzukwu stressed.
He said that Prof Soludo would soon be dragged to court to account for all the monies he has collected as federal allocations, LGA funds as well as taxes and levies collected from Ndi-Anambra.
