Anambra Governorship Election : Ukachukwu Pledges Automatic Appointments, Better Welfare To APC Stakeholders, Former Political Appointees

The All Progressives Congress (APC )flag bearer in the November 8 governorship election in Anambra State, Prince Dr.Nicholas Ukachukwu, has pledged automatic appointment and fat salary to over 4000 stakeholders of the party and the former political appointees in the state who will deliver their polling units during the election.
Prince Ukachukwu,who made the pledge during the town hall meeting organized by the leadership of the party in Awka for over 4000 APC stakeholders and former political appointees in the state, used the opportunity to welcome the participants into the Iyom and Ikukuoma campaign team in Anambra State.
The APC flag bearer, who started his speech with songs of praise,assured that his government will make a change in the state if elected come November 8 polls and will not relax in his quest to transform the fortunes of the state and enjoined his teeming supporters to swing into action immediately.
"If you want to be my friend, follow my footsteps",he enjoined the participants.
He told both big and small in the movement to contribute their quota no matter how little with a view to grant his victory at the polls by fixing themselves in any of his numerous campaign support groups across the state, promising that they will be remembered by their contributions to his victory,expressing optimism that Anambra shall be well again.
"After wining the election, the first day I will resume work, I will preach the gospel so that the world will know that I am a preacher and a king",says Ukachukwu.
He enjoined the participants to look for their people,form alliance and be part of his campaign council as well as embark on door -to - door campaign in all communities across the state.
Ukachukwu,who also pledged severance allowances to the former political appointees if he won the election,asked them to join forces with him and his team,and take his message to all length and breath of the state, adding that his prayer is that he will win the election.
Describing Anambra State as the light of the nation,Prince Ukachukwu, lit two candles in the course of his speech which he said symbolized the removal of darkness or anything that will bring darkness in the state.
He paid tribute to late Dr Ifeanyi Ubah, whom he said that had shown the capacity when he was alive that Soludo must go.
In a remark, the Anambra State Chairman, All Progressives Congress(APC),Chief Basil Ejidike,described Ukachukwu as a golden fish, saying that the participants are already tested and trusted stakeholders of the party and expressed hope that they will not only deliver their polling units, but also their wards equally.
He told them to swing into action immediately, assuring that there is light at the end of the tunnel ,promising Ndi-Anambra that with Ukachukwu as their Governor, the problems of the state will be solved.
Speaking earlier, the convener of the town hall meeting and the Senior Logistics Assistant to the Senate President,Hon Owelle Mbaso,said that the attendees are those responsible for wining of election in the state, assuring that they will overwhelmely deliver Prince Ukachukwu at the polls.
He described Prince Ukachukwu as the Joshua of our time,adding that his unquestionable leadership qualities, unprecedented vision and compassion had earned him the unquatifiable supports of Ndi- Anambra.
"Prince Ukachukwu has pledged to take the welfare of the Anambra workers to the next level if elected the Governor",he assured.
From him,the Director General,late Senator Ifeanyi Ubah Campaign Organization,Hon Vincent Onyeka,thanked the participants for endorsing Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu as their Governorship candidate in the November 8 election .
"The whole Ifeanyi Ubah supporters and fans are now here with Ikukuoma",he stated.
In their separate speeches,the founder of Ikemba Front and a one time Transition Committee Chairman for Ogbaru Local Government Council, Sir Arinze Awuogu,Mr.Jude Nwankwo and Hon.Ifeanyi Arunne-Okeke,recounted the height of betrayal they suffered in Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo led administration after using their time,money and energy to deliver him during the 2022 Governorship election in the state.
They described Prince Ukachukwu as a God sent to wipe their tears,saying that they are feeling the pulse of their colleagues who were used and dumped by Governor Soludo and his team.
The event which was attended by the Zonal Organizing Secretary of the party,Hon Dozie Ikedife Junior and Sir Humphrey Nsofor,former Majority Leader in Anambra State House of Assembly,featured a minute silent in honour of their departed colleague,late Senator Ifeanyi Ubah as well as
endorsement of Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu and his running mate Senator Uche Ekwunife (Iyom) as their candidates for the November 8 election in Anambra State.
