Anambra: NOA Gets First Female Acting Director

History was made yesterday in the National Orientation Agency , (NOA) , Anambra State Directorate , following the emergence of Barrister Ifeoma Evangeline Chijioke as the first female Acting Director of the agency since its creation in 1993.

In his farewell speech during a brief hand over ceremony at the Headquarters of the Agency at Engr. Ebele Ofunneamaka Okeke , Federal Secretariat Complex, Awka, the out gone State Director , Mr Edozie Ajaegbu, described his experience as the Director of the Agency in Anambra State for three years as wonderful. 

He explained that he had good , and very cooperative staff , adding that his relationship with the management, and staff of the Agency during his time as Director was beautiful. 

"We worked together towards moving Nigeria to greatness , and that was our intention", he said. 

"During my State Directorship in Anambra State, the Agency was involved in implementation of programmes originated from NOA Headquarters Abuja, and some State initiated programmes , and collaborative enterprise with Federal establishments, and Non- governmental Organizations," Ajaegbu further dropped. 

While describing NOA as a very vital Organization in a developing country like Nigeria, Mr Ajaegbu , expressed confidence that with better , and improved funding , NOA remained a catalyst in the onerous task of moving Nigeria to greatness. 

" Yes!, I agree that it is not yet time!, but all hands must be on deck for the vision , and mission accomplishment of NOA", Ajaegbu", harped . 

He advised management ,and staff of the Agency to extend their hands of cooperation to the incoming Acting Director, Barrister Chijioke as they did to him , so that the Agency will continue to move from strength to strength , saying that the main work of NOA is to fashion out modalities geared towards moving Nigeria forward. 

In her acceptance speech, the new acting Director of the Agency in Anambra State, Barrister Mrs Ifeoma Evangeline Chijioke, appreciated the out gone state Director Mr. Ajaegbu, whom she said that God used him to right a lot of wrongs in the Agency. 

She prayed God to continue to bless him as he journey into the wider word , appealing to the management, and staff of the Agency to join hands with her leadership to moving the Agency to greater heights, pointing out that together they can achieve it. 

"We can succeed, if they leave the ball for me alone , and I have nobody to pass it to, I will not be able to play the ball. A tree cannot make a forest, so, united we stand , my prayer is that united we can move this great establishment to the next level.

She opined that the out gone state Director,Mr Ajaegbu,did his best towards taken the agency to greater heights, and argued that each person had his own style of leadership.

" And I know that today , he handed over the Barton to me,and it is what I can do by the special grace of God.I know that by the grace of God,and with the support of each of everyone of you ,I will take this establishment to the next level.

" God will help us ,it was Esther that succeeded in liberating Israelites, I by the grace of God , will succeed in liberating NOA in Anambra State ", she echoed.
