NOA Makes Subtle Reorganization, Tasks Staff On Formidable Force, Unity

The new Acting Director, National Orientation Agency, Anambra State Directorate, Awka, Barrister Lady, Ifeoma Chijioke , has made a slight reorganization of the agency by appointing Deputy Directors of the agency as supervisory Deputy Directors with the charge to surpervising the activities of the agency in the twenty- one local government areas in Anambra state.

The Acting Director made the announcement today in her officer at the Ebele Ofunneamaka Okeke Federal Secretariat, Awka, during the in- house - training workshop organized by leadership of the agency for management staff of the agency in Anambra State. 

Barrister Chijioke, who announced that she got letter yesterday from the National Headquarters of the agency at Abuja, confirming her acting Directorship of NOA in Anambra State, stressed that the essence of the slight reorganization of the agency was for trickling down the government policies, programmes and activities of the Agency at the grass roots across the state for better understanding ,and assimilation of the programmes by the people. 

While asking the supervisory Deputy Directors to work towards initiating functional programmes that will be impactful on Nigerians, the Acting Director, advised the participants to come to her office whenever in doubt for clarity , advising them to remain their brother's keepers in the tasks of carrying out their statutory duties . 

The Acting Director, who noted the agency had a lot of job to deliver towards rewriting the denied fortunes of the agency over the years in Anambra State, told the participants to work towards initiating human oriented sensitization programmes on total fight against narcotics, and youths gender violence that had been eating deep in the fabrics of Nigerian society over the years.

"With unity , and formidable force among us, we can achieve a lot by turning around the misconstrued image of the Agency in Anambra State , and Nigeria at large", she said. 

She read the mandates of the supervisory Deputy Directors of the Agency to include ,accessing and evaluating the performance of the Community Orientation, and Mobilization Officers ,(COMOs) of the Agency at the twenty - One local government areas in the state for optimum performance. 

She also spoke on her intention to organize orientation programme for all staff of the agency with a view to instilling in them high sense of discipline, hard-work, and respect in the staff , mandating the Deputy Directors ,and Unit Heads to prepare a miniaturic lectures for the prospected participants of the proposed in-house - training workshop for entire staff of the agency , which she said will come up very soon. 

In their separate speeches, the Deputy Director Planning, Research, and Statistics Department of the Agency, Mr. Obi Okeke, Deputy Director, Civic, Ethics and Democracy Education, Mr.Obi Remigius, among other management staff of the Agency, appreciated the Acting Director, Barrister Chijioke for starting her leadership with all sense of prudency, accommodation of all , and transparency . 

They pledged their unflinching supports to leadership of Barrister Chijioke, praying God to give her more grace, and wisdom to accomplish her heart desire in the Agency, Anambra State , and Nigeria at large.
