NOA Relocates Headquarters To Umumachi Community, Celebrates 1st DG, Prof Umuecheazi

The National Orientation Agency (NOA), Anambra State Directorate, Awka, yesterday 13th March, 2026, relocated its State Headquarters to Umunachi Community in Dunukofia Local Government Area to celebrate the first Director-General of the Agency , Professor Elochukwu Umuecheazi , describing him as a rare gem.
Showering encomium on the former NOA Director -General , Professor Umuecheazi, when she led the entire management, and staff of the Agency to a courtesy visit on him , the State Acting Director NOA in Anambra State, Barrister Lady Ifeoma Chijioke, described the Former Director -General as a human capital developer.
The Acting Director, who said that NOA cannot thank Professor Umuecheazi enough for his overt contributions to not only development of the country , but humanity at large, especially at the grassroots, prayed God to continue to bless him as he continued to push forward to holistic development of the country, and humanity.
Welcoming his august guests in his Obi at his country home Umunachi, the First Director -General of National Orientation Agency (NOA), Abuja, Professo Elochukwu Umuecheazi,decried the present condition of the Agency in the country, saying that Agency is passing through difficult times.
Recounting his days in Abuja as the Director -General of NOA,Professor Umuecheazi, observed that greater percentage of Nigerian were also passing a lot of trials, reminding the leadership of NOA in the country that they have a lot of work to do to reengineering the faith of the country from total collapse.
Umuecheazi,who is a Professor of political science, noted that no Nigerian Governor is interested in what is happening in the country today , describing them as pretty Governors, whom he said were after enriching themselves with the public funds to detriment of Nigerian masses.
From him ,the immediate past State Director of the Agency, Mr.Edozie Ajaegbu, commended the motive behind the visit , adding that he was happy to be part of the history made in the course of the visit.
On his part,the Deputy Director Civic , Values,and Democracy Education, Mr Remigius Obi, said that NOA in Anambra State ,had been engaging the people, especially at the grassroots, persuading them to go register,and obtain their voter's permanent cards from INEC to enable them exercise their civic responsibilities at the polls, come 2027 general elections in the country
