LG Polls: Ifeanyi Chinweze Has No Rival In Anambra-East -- Metchie

The immediate past President-General of Umueri General Assembly in Anambra-East Local Government Area of Anambra State, Amb. Dr. John Metchie, has declared that the incumbent council chairman of Anambra-East Hon. Ifeanyi Chinweze has no rival and no competitor in the Saturday August 29th Anambra State Local Government Elections. 

Metchie who made this declarative statement during an exclusive interview with this journalist, made it abundantly clear that Ifeanyi Chinweze deserved to continue in office as the local government chairman for him to consolidate on the massive transformations he is spearheading in Anambra-East council area. 

Metchie maintained that there is absolutely no need to change or replace a performing chairman as he believes that the results of Mayor Chinweze's administration are there for even the blind to see especially the chairman's peace missions and conflict resolution efforts where he mentioned that the chairman has responded and resolved so many land disputes in communities without prejudice and bloodshed. 

The billionaire industrialist noted that Ifeanyi Chinweze has also improved on the security and safety of lives and properties in Anambra-East Local Government Area ensuring that communities in the council area are not infested with criminal elements. 

According to him, Chinweze has revamped health, education and other sectors of Anambra-East economy coupled with massive infrastructural transformations and human capital development programmes which he said has salvaged and alleviated sufferings of the poor and the needy in the council area. 

The Umueri community former President-General stated that just as the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) led state government is performing at the state level through Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo's transformative leadership model, Mayor Chinweze has equally replicated same in Anambra-East Local Government Area and deserves commendations not condemnation. 

Metchie therefore enjoined Anambra-East electorates to cast their votes massively for the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) on Saturday August 29th inorder to return Hon. Ifeanyi Chinweze as the reelected chairman of Anambra-East Local Government Area as he believes that the reward for a good job is more work.
